Lighthouse favourite

The lighthouse never looks the same.

Clouds stream in overhead and light comes and goes, lighting the lighthouse.
It is hard to choose the view – to watch waves building and crashing, swamp wallabies nibbling grasses with a weather eye on me, shearwater nests with traces of their visits, or look across the green dune tops to Belfast Bay beach vistas.
Every walk is different yet familiar, smells of salt, seaweed and shearwaters the same each time, but skies and shapes and sands change, a never ending palette of pleasure.IMGP0507
